ha ha. I didn’t officially meet you but I did see see you briefly as Heather from Desperately Seeking Sanity followed you in to the elevator on Thursday night and I thought I’d lost her forever because I didn’t have good cell reception in the hotel.

I’ve heard of that “spa”. One of my neighbor’s actually tried to get me to go there once… Congrats on being brave enough to face your fears and the boobs.

this is so interesting. coming from europe, i am always astonished how uncomfortable many american and canadian women are with being naked.
i grew up when things changed, topless beaches were normal, etc. i was lucky. when i was 21 and in college, i spent a lot of time on the nude beach, alone or with my friends. i saw women (and men) in so many shapes that it made me so much less judgmental of my body. it is wonderful to see human bodies in all sizes and shapes, and see the beauty – which is not limited to the images force fed to us. when i moved to the us, i was made a lot more uncomfortable, because everyone seemed to be hiding their bodies, even in the dressing room at the gym.
it made me feel that there was something wrong with being naked. and 20 years later, i unfortunately notice that this has rubbed off on me to some degree.

which does not take anything away from your very funny post.

There isn’t enough alcohol in SF for me to have done that. I avoid public hot tubs, from which I’ve coined the term, “dirty girl soup”. Enjoy our health care system.
