I went back and read your Journey from the beginning so I understood the whole story. My heart goes out to you, as one of the "select few" who have walked a nearly identical road. My heart breaks for your loss and the pain I know you've felt. Our third baby, Jeffrey, earned his official wings at 5-1/2 months courtesy of spinal muscular atrophy/SMA, which is how Cindy (blogging partner) and I met 12 amazing years ago. Her teen son also has SMA. Congratulations on the adoption of the new little redneck! It made tears run down my face as i read, i felt the pain and injustice this family have endured. The main thing i felt whilst i was reading this was the love that came from this lovely family. The love they shared with each other and for a short time a very special little boy. Whatever the friends reasons were for making the allegation are only known to her, i hope for her sake she still believes she did the right thing. Your an incredible women and mother, i really hope things work out for all involved. you have made me think about my own family and how lucky i am to have them!!
