I used regular hair bleach and while it didn't smell like flowers, it stayed where it belonged and I had no issues with it getting on the delicate parts. Then I used a pink temporary hair dye. The pink faded rather quickly from neon pink to pastel pink and the regrowth looked very strange. I re-bleached it and re-dyed it about 3 times before giving up and just trimming it super short to get rid of the color.
